Newly-built home sales are on the rise, making a 7% jump in June, also marking a 4.5% increase from a year prior. Moreover, the median price of new houses sold in last month was $310,500, with the average price coming out to $368,600. However, there are still challenges facing the new home market, such as rising construction costs, a skilled labor shortage, and affordability concerns.

Although affordable newly-built homes may be a challenge to come across, especially in certain regions (read: Northeast and Midwest), you should still be actively looking to expand your referral partnerships to local builders. Lead with value, communication, and a commitment to get things done quickly and smoothly.
