With Freddie Mac's new HomeOne mortgage program, first-time home buyers will have the option to put only 3% down on a conventional loan. The program launches on July 29th and is expected to open up a ton of home-buying opportunities to potential new homeowners, as well as more sales opportunities for loan officers.
