U.S. employment is looking great coming out of October. Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 250,000 jobs, mostly within the healthcare, manufacturing, construction, transportation, and warehousing industries. Wages jumped 3.1%, the largest increase since April 2009. At the same time, the unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%, its lowest level since 1969. (Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics)
